they need us now!!
My dear friends and fellow bloggers,
As you all are well aware, the flood in Johor and Malacca is so bad and getting worse. It is very sad and disturbing to hear so many stories of hardship and difficulty face by the victims of the flood there.
I feel so helpless and heartbreaking to read and hear the news about our fellow malaysians as reported in our TVs and newspapers. Some are still stuck in the flood and can’t go anywhere, some have to live on rain-water and tin foods. Even the aborigine people are not spared; luckily our soldiers braved the flood and brought them some foods yesterday.
The estimated loss is in million of ringgit. All the cars which submerge in the flood are not covered by insurance. The houses and furniture inside are in total loss situation. Even the celebration of Hari Raya Haji and New Year are out of the question to most people in Johor. The hardest hit area is in Segamat, Johor. I hope those people are not losing hope and faith in God. I would say to them “courage my brothers and sisters, help is coming”.
I would like to take this opportunity to call upon all of you to give some donations to them, you may give kinds or money. Please refer and read the NST, they have this special account and column for donation to the flood victims.
Even one ringgit can make a big difference to them. Finally I pray that God will ease their burden soonest possible and reward them with abundance of rezeki and fortune.
I’m no rich person but I hope my little donation will help them a little. Insyaallah. God bless them all.
