our neighborhoods are not safe anymore...

nowadays, almost everyday people in KL are robbed or murdered or hurt by heartless criminals in one way or another. we are not safe anymore. we can get hit anytime now, day and night, anytime anywhere. it does not whether we are alone or with company. it does matter whether we are in our home or outside. we are so scared now. we fear for our children, our wives and our family members. we fear for ourselves…
two days back, a male employee of 'Strudel' in bangsar was brutally hacked to death after he just opened the premises for business. his bloody body was found lying on the pavement near the premises. the murderers had escaped with the money from the safe box..

these criminals are not scare at all, they don’t care about the people around them. to them, the police are nothing but a nuisance. these criminals carry guns, machetes, knifes and other sharp objects. they may rape or torture their victims before they escape with their loots. to them, the punishments from God or the law are nothing. they are so sick and crazy. we cannot reason with them. we must terminate them at any cost.

we always wonder why the crimes always happen at the times when the police are not around. it’s like these criminals know where the police are. it’s like the police are helping them. we have to admit that these criminals are very smart. they can outwit, outgun and outsmart the police force. i won’t be surprised if some of these criminals have degrees or diplomas in their pockets. maybe they can speak a few languages, who knows.

here, in malaysia we have criminals from india, china, bangla, thai, africa and middle east. these criminals know that we are so open when it comes to tourism. we are a sitting duck. anyone can come to us. anyone can rob or shoot at us. they know that malaysians are over generous. so these criminals abuse our hospitality. they do not respect us anymore. it’s a high time that our government round them up and send them home for good. we don’t need these people.

anyway, what do we do now to protect us? it seems that every defense that we have is not working anymore. our security and safety are crumbling down. it’s like those criminals already hacked our system down. we can get hit anytime now. what has happened to our security officers, our police force, our Rela members, our JKK and our people. we are fighting an uphill battle here, guys.

actually, the real problem is not with those criminals. it is in our system. most of us are so corrupt and so selfish, we just don’t care about others anymore. we are not working together, we are not helping each other. we don’t know our neighbors. we don’t know our community or our neighborhood. we only concern about our money. as a result we compromise our unity, our cooperation, our harmony and eventually our safety.

i think if we can come together, we can drive those criminals out from our system forever.
