Toll everywhere!!

currently I live in kota damansara, PJ. almost every week i have to drive to shah alam court complex to attend my clients’ litigation matters there. usually i take NKVE highway to save my time and cost. lately, i observe that the NKVE highway is getting busier everyday, so many cars are using it. it costs me RM1.90 toll from kota damansara toll to bukit jelutong toll exit.

i don’t know why, but on my way back, i prefer to take the federal highway and exit through kerinchi-link. i always feel my office is nearer through this route. it costs me RM1.10 toll at Batu 3, Shah Alam and RM1.50 toll at kerinchi-link toll exit. so on every trip to shah alam court, i have to spend at least RM4.50 on tolls.

once in while i will drive to kuala terengganu to visit my parents at my kampong. usually i’ll take the karak highway and then i’ll take the new east coast highway straight to kuantan, pahang. my tolls will be RM4 at gombak-toll, RM2.50 at bentong-toll and RM19.60 at the new high way toll-exit at kuantan. so my one way trip to kuala terengganu would cost me RM26.10 on tolls. for the record, i really like the new highway, it cut short my trip to 2 hours.

currently our government is busy building/extending the east coast highway from kuantan to kuala terengganu. i’m anxious to know what is my new toll charges for this highway. if the highway is finished, my next trip to kuala terengganu will be shorter than the present one. thanks to the government.

but whether i like it or not, I must pay toll to enjoy a shorter and convenience trip to my kampong. so no money no trip lah :-)
