lawyer or liar..

Yesterday news was a big shock to me…
Forgery in Bar Council Election for 2007-2008!!
What a big shame!! Apparently there were 50 forged ballot papers in the election..

Me as one of the lawyers is so embarrassed..
People will look at me suspiciously..
They will think….Is he one of them?
Should we trust our money with this guy?
Maybe he would run away with our money?

The above questions surely would crop us in the mind of any right thinking member of our society…
corruption and oppression have turned our society into a suspicious society….
It’s very hard to trust anyone now including a professional who has an insurance cover like lawyers..

how could lawyers who pledge to do good & justice without fear and favor did that..
No more integrity among lawyers…
So many of us are so power crazy and money-oriented….
The rogue lawyers are jostling for positions in the Bar Council at any cost..
if can, these rogue lawyers will literally buy their position at the Bar…
Gone are the days where lawyers walk around with respect and admiration…
Gone are the days where people will excitedly come to us and listen to our advice…

Nowadays.. no money no advice from most lawyers…

It is my fervent hope that the culprit and the rogue lawyers who practice fraud and corruption would be banished forever from the Bar… we have to struck them off or suspend them forever…

It is my last hope that I can stand the challenge and would not fall to any enticement and temptation to do evil to anyone… though earning legitimate income is very hard to do these days because of the globalization and open market….the competition is fierce.

I hope I can survive with integrity to the end of my life-journey.
